The Adventures of Tintin (also known as The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn) is a 2011 American performance capture 3D film based on The Adventures of Tintin, a series of comic books created by Belgian artist Herge (Georges Remi). Directed by Steven Spielberg, produced by Peter Jackson, and written by Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright  and  Joe Cornish, the film is based on of the original comic books: The Crab with the Golden Claws (1941), The Secret of the Unicorn (1943),  and  Red Rackham's Treasure (1944). It is also the first animated film Spielberg ever directed in his whole career.

The film story starts when Tintin, a young journalist,  and  his dog Snowy are browsing in an outdoor market in a European town. Tintin buys a model of a three-masted sailing ship, the Unicorn, on the cheap, but is then immediately accosted by the sinful Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine,  and  the mysterious figure of Barnaby, who both try to buy the model from Tintin, without success. Tintin takes the ship home, but it is broken in the work of a fight between Snowy as well as a neighbour's cat. As it breaks, a parchment scroll slips out of the ship's mast. Snowy spots it but is unable to alert Tintin. Meanwhile, incompetent detectives Thomson  and  Thompson are on the trail of a pickpocket, Aristides Silk. Tintin visits Sakharine in Marlinspike Hall, where they learns that there's at least model ships....

Mortal Kombat: Legacy is an American web series anthology that debuted on Machinima.com's YouTube channel on April 11, 2011. The show is an adaptation of the fictional universe of the Mortal Kombat video game franchise. The show's premise originated with director Kevin Tancharoen's short film entitled Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, portraying the original game's story in a realistic way, an idea they finally submitted to Warner Bros. seeking the green-light for production on a re-imagined Mortal Kombat film. Warner Bros. declined to back the film, despite the attention and positive fan reception, but Tancharoen did get the go-ahead to shoot the world wide web series.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy takes place before the events of the first match and tells the background tales of several characters from the franchise, culminating in their reasons for participating in the upcoming tenth Mortal Kombat match, on which the first game was based. The series is a non-linear anthology, with each episode independent of the rest, and dedicated to the story of a specific character or characters.

A terrorist bombing ruins the Kremlin while IMF agent Ethan Hunt is out for an undercover mission somewhere in Moscow. Hunt with his team are given rights to escape from the government's custody as an act of a plan to make them operate outside of their agency's command center.
